Addisynn (Addi) was born with congenital heart disease and is now in stage 5 kidney failure requiring dialysis. Her family is waiting to see if she is a candidate for a heart and kidney transplant.
Addi is the youngest of four girls. Her mom and dad are a young couple wrestling to balance life with all the girls along with multiple surgeries, sicknesses, and the medical needs of Addi. Already, Addi has had three open-heart surgeries. One surgery resulted in a brain injury and she went into kidney failure shortly after. It was an eventful time of sickness, cardiac arrest, and ECMO.
Being a parent to a child with major critical illnesses can make it tough to make time to have friends, but Addi’s parents have gained a support system of friends and people they’ve met along this journey with Addi. Many are praying for them (including us at Hearts of Hope Network) as they wait to hear if Addi will be a transplant candidate and as Addi continues her fight with heart disease, kidney failure, and whatever life throws at her.
Hearts of Hope Network is here to help Addi’s family. Because of generous donations and support, we have sent Tony’s Hugs packages to each member of this family and are here to help throughout their journey.
Addi’s family is also fundraising on their own. While we are here to help, the cost of caring for a critically ill child can be very extreme. Many times, their parents have to take off work or quit working to care for their child. We thank you for supporting Hearts of Hope Network through donations, and if you would like to help support this family even further, please consider following their support links below.
Here at Hearts of Hope Network, every case is different and unique in its own way. We want to always be here to stand with these families in their time of need and beyond. Every donation goes toward supporting these families, and every donor is a part of showing these families that they are NOT alone.
Be part of our family.
