Jackson was born with half a heart. He has congenital heart defects, pulmonary hypertension, and double inlet left ventricle. He has had 5 open heart surgeries so far. He has 3 siblings and one on the way who has also been diagnosed with a heart defect. 

We are a family of 6, about to be 7 in the next few weeks! We have a 12-year-old, 6-year-old, 5-year-old, 3-year-old and soon to be newborn! Our 5-year-old is our heart warrior who has undergone 5 open heart surgeries. We moved to Texas for the Children’s hospital, and we are waiting his 6th open heart surgery!

Our little one we are expecting has recently been diagnosed with a hole in her heart, so we officially now have 2 heart babies. It’s a tough road, but with all the love and support from our friends and family, we make it through time after time! Hearts of Hope network has been so good to us, helping us provide for Christmases and other things when we were struggling and we couldn’t be more thankful!
